Food was amazing for the price. Protein portions were adequate however for the parrillada I got a kid’s portion of rice and beans with plenty of room on the plate. My mom loved her chicharron. Took a star off because my entire pitcher of sangria was mostly lychee juice for some odd reason even after vigorously mixing it. I know when there’s virtually no liquor/liqueur in sangria. I’m just glad I don’t have to go to Astoria for some good Colombian parrillada.

Would love to give this place five stars because the food was great and service was attentive and cordial. However, I had to take away a star because I called and made a reservation and when I arrived they said that they don’t take reservations. They did accommodate us but it almost turned into an argument.

I have to say I’ve been eating off the same Colombian restaurant for over 17 yrs….not gonna call out the name because I consider them friends after so many years. ..but I definitely need to same El Patio Colombiano….has better presentation real Chef & definitely food quality was exceptional!!! For some reason everything was super sized…drink & food (I was shocked how big the portions were) Staff was great and the restaurant was decent inside. We spend over $230 but I would definitely recommend this place worth it & I’d go back!! I loved the tostones with the garlic sauce perfectly cooked to perfection…the shakes were delicious! Special thanks to Carlos our waiter for all the special attention. Owner came over to ask how the food was….. very happy we randomly chose El Patio Colombiano!!

Huge serving of food, all the meats were perfectly cooked. The meats were pork, steak and sausage. Comes with an egg, sweet plantain rice and beans. The whole staff was very nice. Really enjoyed it. We left with a happy belly and some leftovers.

I order the bistec encebollado, if you like onions you would love this one. It comes with rice, beans (they need to work on their beans not good) and a small salad. My dad order pechuga apanada, it was pretty good, well season and not too thin or thick. It also comes with rice, beans and salad. We also tried jugo de Mango, with milk pretty good

My first time there, I ordered the assorted seafood dish, every clam and mussels were completely shriveled up and practical none existent. Only had 3 scallops in entire dish,, shrimp and calamari were good. The sauce was just ok, not very flavorful. I definitely would not recommend the seafood!!

Visited on 12/29/2022, service was very good, food was good with the exemption of the Empanadas, as they were over fried. We were a group of seven and had different plates, all were good. We will definitely be going back.

We sat outside, I asked our waiter to clean up the table. The music was very loud, our waiter went on a break. I had to get up to ask for the bill, another waiter asked us if everything was alright. Water was not even served, average service. I was expecting better service, I would go back for the empanadas preferably take out.
