Absolute must! So glad we wandered in – service was great and the food was delicious!! We ordered and then meandered around the gift shop until our appetizers arrived. Had a three course meal that left us stuffed and happy! We couldn’t resist returning to the gift shop after dinner for the fresh fried pies (they also had ice cream). A shame they close for winter…hurry in!!!

This place is wonderful. Quiet and beautiful. The food was amazing. I had the braised beef short ribs and my husband had the Cajun chicken fettuccini. His chicken was seasoned wonderfully and the short ribs was pulled off the bone (less work for me) and rested on top of mashed potatoes covered in a delicious sauce. Jeanie was our waitress and went above and beyond to make sure we got the full 149 Eatery experience. A gourmet meal with a friendly country feel.

Love this new dining option between Creede and South Fork! The food is excellent and fresh and the happy hour prices are legit! Love the creativity displayed in the menu and the house wine is actually really good. We’ve had wonderful service and love the patio. Make sure to get reservations on the weekends and know they are closed Weds/Thurs.

Had a wonder late lunch/early dinner at 149 Eatery while staying in Creede. This place was recommended by our RV Park host but she said we might need to make a reservation. We stopped in at 3:30pm on a Sunday afternoon after riding up Pool Table Road and were seated immediately without the need for a reservation. Had the Chicken Fried Chicken, the Short Ribs, and the Cornbread, along with a glass of wine and tea. Service was excellent (Dan was our waiter) and the food was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Total was just over $60 before tip, but we didn’t mind paying that when the food was so good. Definitely recommend, and try going early if evening reservations are hard to get!
