I am confused by all the 5 star ratings for this restaurant. As a past server for almost 6 years I try not to be too critical on other restaurants but this one warranted it.

Good American homemade Italian food. What makes this place pop is the wonderful staff. My stepfather and I started going there after my mother’s death once a week. The staff got to know us and treated us like family. It is time for both my stepfather and I to move away from the area but we will both treasure our wonderful times at Nicolino’s. Tell em hello for us when ya visit

Not only the was the food amazing but the music was great. They have a bar side and a restaurant style side. Super cute decor. The marinara sauce was the best sauce I’ve ever had! Fantastic place! Would 10/10 recommend

The interior of the restaurant is extremely dated/cardboard/staples to the wall. The service was very slow and lack of refills/check ins. The dishes were not made to order. Items were included that were requested to be removed. The Alfredo sauce tasted like nutmeg. The sausage, I am not sure is homemade, but was very dry and flavorless. It could have been an older batch. Overall, it was not the most ideal meal. Lots of flavor was lacking, presentation was not good, and orders did not arrive correctly.

We sat at the bar and had lasagna and Cocktails. We were there at about 5:00 p.m. and expected they would have some happy hour specials on the cocktails or food but they did not. The lasagna tasted fine but didn’t have defined layers and thus didn’t look appealing. Would have been nice if they had served complimentary bread. We will probably go back but likely not during happy hour when other restaurants have special deals.

Food was good but served lukewarm. Atmosphere/decor is kind of cheesy but who cares. Prices were quite reasonable compared to most places in the Palm Springs area.

You better give Kari a raise! This is absolutely outstanding, and you would be missing out if he didn’t give this place a shot.

Went for dinner, it was very good. Our server was very friendly and super helpful. They have a good well rounded menu with something for everyone. I loved the garlic bread that was offered for the table a nice touch instead of just plain bread. The servings were a good size and came from the kitchen poppin hot! I love to support local businesses and this is a family restaurant that is doing it right. The menu pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely go back. Just so you know my 4 star is very very good (I believe 5 star is perfect)
