My husband and I have eaten here several times and it’s been a great experience every time. The food has been delicious and the service is excellent. Our waitress took a lot of time to describe and explain the food to us non-Ecuadorians. The owner has come out of the kitchen to greet us and ask how we like the food. They really made us feel at home. We will definitely be back.

We grew up in Ecuador and we are very disappointed with our experience visiting this restaurant. For starters, they don’t have a menu… It was frustrating that we had to ask for prices, which the waiter didn’t really know, and in the end we got charged more. The Ceviche didn’t meet our expectations, Encebollado lacked flavor and as of the Super Bandera: the Guatita was too watery and the Fish was to dry! Food looked great though, hence the 2 Stars. Last but not least, I couldn’t even chat with my family because they rushed us because there were others waiting to be seated, the place is too small. Kung Fu Tea which is next door saved the day!!

Great experience. My wife and i are from ecuador and we’ve been waiting for an Ecuadorian restaurant to open. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious!! We are definitely coming back and letting all our friends know about this spot. We had the empanadas de platano the bistec de carne and the encebollado all great plates delicious.

First time after some Google search in the area, we’re new to the Charlotte area so for an Ecuadorian food lover to find a good place is a plus. Very friendly personnel, the owner is pretty kind. Place is not fancy but food is good. When over there with a few friends we try some “bolones” with cheese and the ones that carry everything (pork) add “bistec” to that. Encebollado, Ceviche, Bandera (Although the person ordering this dish said that it was too much rice on the plate) I explained that somehow that’s how they serve dishes in Ecuador, with a lot of rice. Will definitely back and highly recommended it! ☺️

The food was delicious and authentic. The portions are also very generous for the price. I am happy that there is now a true Ecuadorian restaurant in Charlotte that we can go to when we are in the mood for a nice home-cooked meal.

We had a party of 7 and they were able to provide a table for us with ease. We had a mix of dishes and we all agree that the food is amazing! Definitely will be trying other dishes in the future. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

TRASH PLACE!! RUN!! The way they treat customers is UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE, the owner woman has no patience or RESPECT for costumers and is extremely RUDE, and the owners son who works there, has no manners, is extremely disrespectful and has severe anger issues. They are not fit to work in this customer service job AT ALL! The waiting time for the food is TOO along and the food is freezing cold and disgusting. What a shame that Ecuador is being represented by this UNPROFESSIONAL place.

Being an Ecuador native I give this place 10 stars! The staff is very attentive and welcoming! Although there is no menu I know all the dish names so that’s a plus for me. I recommend you order the Breaded Fish “Pecado Apanada” it was a good portion, not overly seasoned, cooked the right temperature and the sides were fresh and delicious! To all looking to leave a star less than 5 please give business the grace to start and make mistakes. Nothing will be perfect at the beginning just like anything in life, give small business a chance to get things right with time.
