Read about this restaurant on social media and had to stop by and try it. Mr. Bill the owner provided great customer service, I was allowed to sample a variety of food which made it challenging to select what I wanted. He had a Manager’s special called the Pineapple bowl, I chose it and was glad that I did.

After learning that Bill and Jorie were related to a coworker, we had to give them a try and we’re glad we did! As Bill said “We’re the best kept secret” and they definitely deserve some more press. This is the Sampler Platter and we grabbed a bottle of their home made sauce and absolutely nothing disappointed! Everything was great, well seasoned, and made us want more! The true winners seem to be the smoked meatloaf and hot links. Can’t wait to go back!

This is a take out only restaurant. Does deliver,but through uber eats. Been there twice. My favorites are. the rib tips and brisket. I don’t like meatloaf so never tried it. The selection of sides are many the baked beans, green beans, and cornbread are my favorites. In conclusion the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and has medium prices but you get a large portion.

Checked out Bill’s for the first time tonight and ordered the rib tips and pulled pork sandwich. Both were excellent!!! The portions were amazing and everything was delicious! We also had the pleasure to sample a few other items: the meatloaf, chicken wings, brisket and corn casserole. All were amazing! I have a feeling, we’re going to be regulars quickly!!

I drove from the south suburbs of Chicago, because I saw the segment on TV and wanted to try the food. The tips were over cooked and burnt. I was not happy at all. If I lived closer I would have brought them.back. Crazy thing the owner bragged about not putting sauce on the food because if you need to add sauce they are not good..well I needed to add sauce..won’t be back. In my personal opinion the food was not good it was overcooked the rib tips were like beef jerky banana pudding tasted boxed with some wafers and bananas thrown in just not a pleasant experience. I’ve been to almost every bbq place in the area so I have places to compare it to. But I wasn’t going to leave a review until I looked at my receipt and saw that not only was I charged an Indiana sales tax but also a Chicago tax and that was the tipping point. My husband and I tried Bill’s Grill for the first time tonight and the food was DELICIOUS!! After sampling a few items it was difficult to place an order as EVERYTHING was excellent. However we settled on the rib tips, chicken wings and meatloaf. The owner is very nice and the service is awesome. We will definitely be back.

Saw the sign for Bob’s Grill and decided to pop in just after they opened on Saturday. Bill served me some samples and all were delicious. Settled on the brisket and it was great as was the green beans and potato salad. Will definitely be going back!

I would have rated ten stars on customer service alone, they were lovely to interact with. Having “met” the owner and spoken with two employees, I can say with certainty that they’re all above and beyond the service of any other place we’ve tried in the area. Food was good, pulled chicken was fantastic without sauce. Minor mistake (received two skillet corns instead of one corn and one potato salad), and the Grubhub menu doesn’t specify that the side you order with the Loaded Mac will arrive on top of the meat and macaroni rather than as a side, but it was still good.
