As you can see by the response provided they’re unable to acknowledge their incompetence. Stating it was my fault for not reading the menu when someone clearly states they don’t want an ingredient in their food it doesn’t matter what the menu says. “I don’t want lettuce” is pretty clear that’s what I want to be left out of my food. If you are unable to take an order maybe you are in the wrong line of work. I’m sorry you don’t have the brain power to make a burrito without lettuce when a customer orders it. Next time tell the customer “the menu says lettuce and we don’t know how to cook them without the lettuce.” It’s better than blaming the customer later and sounding like a fool by saying “the menu says lettuce you should have it not our fault you didn’t read it (even though you told us you didn’t want lettuce, but we still made it with lettuce and charged you for something you didn’t want).”
