I rated this higher than I normally would. The food is OK. Service is very good. It’s a local eatery. This isn’t a five-star restaurant, but it doesn’t pretend to be. They have good ribs and decent barbecue. I didn’t like the desserts and neither did my wife. however for a casual dining experience in a peaceful environment this is a nice place.

This place is a hole in the wall, but the food was absolutely amazing! I had the pulled pork and the beef. Usually I dont like BBQ because they leave huge glops of fat in the meat, this was absolutely perfect. I could eat every bite. I will also say I thought I could do medium BBQ sauce, nope, had to go get mild.

Good fun historic place in a great setting. Great service and good food. The ribs are freaky but delicious, the beans are great and my wife said her sandwich was really good. Affordably priced too! Another star could be earned if the place was a little cleaner, including the bathroom.

By far the best Bar-B-Q around this area. Large portions of multiple types of smoked meat; Ribs,(single rib is loin portion), pulled pork & beef sandwiches, pork & beans, slaw, hot pickles & peppers, homemade mild to med, hot & Xtra-Hot sauce Everything is great, private dining rooms for large groups! In a nutshell, this is one of the best bbq places in eastern Oklahoma! They’ve been in business over 50 years, and have continually served excellent food. I particularly enjoy their hot links and pulled pork, and their beans are top-notch as well. Definitely give this little old restaurant a go if you find yourself in town!

Have to say I was kinda leary about eating here, and I’m sure glad I didn’t just drive on by the turn-off. It’s definitely in my favorite top 5 of BBQ joints now. Had the BBQ beef sandwich and coleslaw. Absolutely delicious!
