I had a wonderful dinner with my brother visiting from…. My, now late wife, used to go here when we first started dating and went on our wedding anniversaries here after and it was always great in every aspect. I love to sit and eat by koi water feature. It is always relaxing. Before, during and after the meal, the employees kept busy cleaning, straightening and making sure we had everything we needed. Yes, we were the only ones in the restaurant, but that is OK because the employees never stopped working and it showed In the quality of the experience. Just like all of the times in the past. I know it sounds corny, but my wife let me know she was present with me in spirit by turning on the ambient music just as I was mentioning to my brother, “I seem to remember music playing when I have been here in the past.” When suddenly it started playing. And this was just after a kinda long awkward silence at the table. It’s what made me say something about it. I’m just saying…….? Thank you for the great experience, again. In my opinion, don’t change a thing. Although, if our visit was indicative of how many customers are not coming in, I hope that changes for you, so you can continue to provide a great, well rounded and memorable experience in dining quality. Something that is truly hard to find, to that degree, in a restaurant these days.

The food was delicious. I’ve never had vegetarian sukiyaki before, but the flavor was super delicious! The pink lemonade was also very tasty. I will absolutely come back here. Great parking lot. I came on a Monday at 4 o’clock when they opened for dinner. It was not crowded. I did wait for a while for my meal, but it was definitely worth the wait.

I ordered beef sukiyaki. Vegetables choice was bad and not fully cooked, soup was too salty, and the beef slices were undercooked. I would say the worst sukiyaki I’ve had in California. My boyfriend ordered 7 pieces of sashimi plate, it took over 30 min for them to bring the food in when there were only 6 other persons (3 tables) were dining during our time there and they left in the middle. If u want to go somewhere nice to chat, this is probably a good choice but if u want real food as an important meal of your day? plz don’t come here.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Me and my family have been coming here since I was little. We’re regulars at Kobe & over the years have dealt with our fair share of mistakes, from hairs in our rolls (countless times), getting food poisoning, to missing order items & having to drive all the way back across town, we’ve continued to support the business. We ordered our dinner as usual & when I took my first bite of mussel I realized there was a fully intact crab on top of the mussel covered in sauce. How does the chef not pay attention enough to look down before steaming & adding sauce to the mussel? One look down would’ve been enough to realize and take it off before prepping & serving. Owner (teresa) refused to remake the order. She was extremely rude & aggressive (sounds like a repeating pattern considering the other reviews) Over 10 years of being a customer ends today. Horrible way to handle the situation & after all the hairs/mess ups/etc i’ve had enough. We won’t be returning. Unsanitary, overpriced, run down, & horrible management. This place should be shut down. Take your business elsewhere.

Good ambience. Not very busy usually. I enjoy the indoor stream with the real koi.

Kobe is a bit hidden away but worth a visit. Their sushi is always good and the rest of the menu is definitely classic family restaurant comfort food level. Went on a Wednesday using a Groupon and it was slow – very quite. Good place for a date or talking with friends and not getting blown out by noise….. nice ambiance too…..

My daughter loves the koi pond. It keeps the kids entertained while waiting for the food. The wait staff is really nice. Great place to grab sushi.
