Yon never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression, and my first experience here was exceptional. The staff geeted me as soon as I walked in and the young lady at the counter went above and beyond to explain the menu. Phenomenal customer service and generous portions!

This place is great!! Seriously the best take out chinese I’ve had. I usually don’t ever go to the same restaurant twice because I like to try other places but it was good enough I wanted to go back. First time we tried the sesame chicken and this time the orange chicken. I liked that the chicken was crispy and didn’t get soggy as soon as it had sauce on it like some places I’ve tried. I also tried the thin rice noodles (forgot the name of the dish) and while it was lacking in sauce it was still good and tasted fresh. We also tried the fried rice and spring rolls and enjoyed both. My daughter got the chicken noodle soup both times we’ve been and really liked it. We will be back! 😀

Anyone hungry for some grease? I took one bite and my egg roll turned into a grease faucet. I’m starving and my only choices are diarrhea when I wake up tomorrow or licking what’s stuck to the bottom of my freezer…I’ll take my chances with the freezer.

When my wife said Chinese food I immediately thought of Chicken Mei Fun. Not all Chinese places have it, but this one added it to the menu this year. The spring rolls were so fresh and not soft or wilted. The cream cheese wontons were crisp and amazing. The General Tso was not overdone and tough…it was perfect. The best part was how much the family enjoyed the entire meal. Very good experience. Thank you Shanghai Restaurant.

I love their food, always fresh. Only complaint is online menu is hard to read-no corresponding menu item numbers and no prices listed. Also wish I could order side of lo mein noodles or Mei Fun noodles as an option with no mix-ins just sauce. More photos of menu options would be a great idea also!

Always excellent, quick, courteous, professional, prices comparable with other Chinese takeout, but certain dishes they make are better than most of the other takeouts around and have tried this throughout Syracuse and surrounding areas as well as out of state. Only thing I wish was a little better was the won ton soup. It’s not bad but it’s not as flavorful of a broth as I am used to at most others it’s j thicker other places. But don’t let that deterior I’m just hoping that they read it and make a change a little bit, I’m sure most people if not everybody would not complain. It’s good and can only get better for the wonton soup, but the rest is CRAB Rangoon the best… hands down……. A+++++
