We’ve been going here for years and never understood why it is never crowded. Better than your typical pub fare at a slightly lower price. Great tap list. Most underrated place in town. Hidden gem for sure. They share a kitchen with Samba.

It is an attached restaurant of Sumba upstairs. The food is decent. Their draft beer choice is plenty, they have 32 of them that day. Only thing concerned me was the wait time of the food.

We had a really great experience here tonight. Service was great, both of our meals and apps were excellent. Best waffle fries I’ve ever had and a truly stellar burger. Great selection of beers on tap too. We couldn’t believe how reasonable the prices were when we got our bill. Can’t recommend this place enough, will definitely be back.

Wow! Gourmet Nachos !! I’ve never had Nachos like these. The chips are minimal but that’s ok because the chicken is tender and the white cheese sauce is phenomenal. Let’s just say some people were dipping French fries in it!! There was something sweet in the sauce. The cheeseburger, chicken bacon wrap, and French dip were all amazing per the others in my party. Chris was our bartender and waiter. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. The atmosphere is nice to kick off the night. Great for couples conversation and lots of beers on tap!!!

Visiting from IL. Was looking for a low key chill spot and I found it. Aj the bartender was great! I came in right before the kitchen closed (I didn’t know and even said nevermind) but they insisted and the food was FIRE! I got the hot chicken sandwich and waffle fries. Aj and the kitchen staff are the reason I’ll be coming back next time I come to Madison.

We went on a Sunday , probably around 5 pm. Not a very welcoming environment. Felt like a dive bar, which would be fine if that’s what it was. We left because it was apparent that we were not going to get good service and the bartender working had one too many to keep up with the business that was coming in. I also have an issue with kids getting beers/ drinks for their parents and the bartender serving it to them . Just get up and get it yourself.
