My wife and I were in the area during my multi-week bicycle trip and were ready for a late lunch. The place didn’t look like anything special from the outside but the service was amazing from the minute we walked through the door. Our server offered samples of their juices and made menu recommendations. The food was fabulous and was way more than I could eat – even after after a 50-mile bicycle ride. Reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended!

This place is junk meat.. picture attached.. carne asada, no marinade to loosen up the tissue. Sticky rice. Find another place, any play be five times better.

I placed a simple order over the phone at 10am, that was told would be ready in 20 minutes, and when I arrived at 10:20 it wasn’t ready. This being understandable and considering that they’re known for being quite slow serving, I waited as I was told my food was about to be ready multiple times over the course of the next 20 minutes. Finally after noticing that someone else who arrived 10 minutes after me received their food, I gave up and left without an explanation, just like how the supposed food was supposed to be “Just about done” for over half an hour. Seems he must’ve called his order in at least an hour before.

This place is very good, authentic Honduran food. I am born and raised Honduran, and this place tastes like home. The service is super attentive, prices are fair, and the food is delicious. What else could you possibly ask for? These people know Honduran Cuisine. First time visiting Louisiana & I had to visit a Honduran restaurant, needless to say I was NOT disappointed ..gracias Los Álvarez, la comida estaba rica .. volveremos pronto!
