So tonight, RoseMarie & I were guests of Harry & Dana McKinney for dinner at the Maple Creek Bistro in Kingston TN. After a brief wait, we were seated quickly, and Mya, our waitress, got right to work, taking our drink order. Mya was on her game and did a fabulous job. Our meals were all correct and were cooked to perfection ! The service and food were great. Just to be clear, this is not an average eatery, but I would say this is fine dining for our area. Special occasions and memorable evenings are made here. It may be a bit pricey for some folks, but you won’t be disappointed. So, if you’re looking to have a fine dining experience, this is the place !! I’ll give it a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ dining experience with a $$$ cost.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Kingston. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was as good as any I have eaten in the Carolinas. My wife had salmon and rice. If you are a whiskey liver they definitely have you covered along with a great selection of wine. We also liked the fact they served water and left a bottle for refills. Great atmosphere.

I ordered Caesar Salad, Chopped romaine hearts, croutons, shaved parmesan and cracked black pepper. This was very fresh and the dressing was great. Atlantic Salmonoz ared salmon paired with chardonnay lemon butter sauce and served with a fragrant jasmine rice pilaf.

This is the nicest restaurant/bar in the area… BY FAR! A true American-style bistro. Spotless. Fun decor inside and out. Polite, clean-cut staff. Delicious food. Exceptional bar with Happy Hour! What took me so long to find this place? Can’t wait to return!

Started out rough but things got better. I ordered an Old Fashioned. It took forever to arrive and when it did, it looked like someone had drank half of it. I questioned the waitress if that was normal for their Old Fashioned’s and she said it was. I sent it back. The fish and chips was very good but they forgot to supply us with eating utensils so I had to wait a bit to have someone find me some. She brought back two forks just for me. My wife had the burger. She said it was good. Maybe next time will be better.

First time 5! I don’t give these out easy. I had the large Meatlovers pizza, and my Bride had the Shrimp and grits. The pizza had a good crunch on the crust and was loaded with cheese. The Shrimp (were huge by the way) and grits had a Cajun creme sauce that was delicious! A must for a stop on a trip or the trip in the Knoxville/East TN area! Quality, portion size, and taste = I will be back!

Jadyn and me eat there at least every other Saturday evening and tried almost every appetizer and menu item. My favorite is the Salmon with a strawberry side salad, the salmon’ is AMAZING! Jadyn absolutely loves the shrimp and grits. My husband raves over the meatloaf dinner. This little Bistro has far better food than any of Knoxville’s “fine” dining. My only concern is.that I have to sip my tea because in all the times we have ate there, we have yet to be offered a refill but that is fine you also get a small jug of drinking water. I do wish it was open on Sunday for after church lunch or dinner. The food is some of the best I have ever ate with a really gorgeous dining atmosphere inside and out.
