I rarely give a place 5 stars for all categories. We were very impressed with the service and food. We accidentally found this place and could not be more happy we did. We will definitely be coming back for the fish and shrimp tacos. Our servers were engaging and very considerate is our kids. They even brought out a sopapilla for my sons birthday! Great experience and can’t wait to return and try more of the menu.

The margarita was severely watered down and malnourished. My son and I had to wait nearly 30 mins for our food and the food was terrible and COLD (I can tell that it was just sitting in the back). We witnessed two customers come in 10-15 mins after us, get seated, and got their food asap wayyy before ours. I never had a tamale with a pound of masa and so little meat in the middle. Both of our cheese enchiladas were cold. The Charra beams were bland and watery – no flavor at all. We both left very disappointed and dissatisfied and will NEVER return to this restaurant again. The food and service was straight ️!!!! I didn’t finish my meal. Waste of my hard earned money!

This is our favorite Tex Mex restaurant in the Allen area (by far). The food is tasty, spicy, and well prepared. The chips and salsa are great. Prices are reasonable, especially at lunch during the week. The servers are attentive and cheerful. The margaritas are excellent, and the house magarita is only $5 on Monday. Since it is popular, it can get noisy at night. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed every dish we’ve had (except I thought the chicken burrito was not as good as everything else).

Great neighborhood Mexican place. Packed at 6 PM with good reason. They have cheap dos Equis on Friday night. My wife and I split the molcajete and it was enough for four people. Great beef and shrimp. We’ll definitely be back.

Now that the Grand Opening hoopla has died down (the peak hours waiting period was around 45 minutes), this medium size place is indeed a neighborhood delight. The food is standard fare with minor seafood variations. The service is just the way a place can entice me to keep coming back – always alert in the background, always inquiring about refills and never overbearing. Great for casual dining.

The prices and food portion was great! The shrimp taco was really delicious and I’m glad I listened to the server’s favorite dish here and the most important thing to mention is the server was excellent!!! He checked on us so many times and not to bug us at all!

I was looking forward to this place. They had good reviews and is close by. We were disappointed. Food was meh at best. It wasn’t bad, but nothing I would want to come back for or recommend. Service was ok, they were either busy or short staffed and I get that. After waiting a while we finally got greeted and was fine afterwards. The place is small, but not bad. I won’t be back. There are far better Mexican restaurants.

The food and service were excellent. But by far the home-made flan was outstanding! The best by far that I’ve had since my grandmother’s. The Guisado was very flavorful as well as the shrimp tacos. We will definitely return and bring the rest of the family to enjoy this excellent family restaurant!

Food was good for the price, servings were generous. The service was friendly. The frozen margaritas were just a little too sweet for my taste
