My last visit was disappointing. I ordered Beef Pad Woo Sen and swear they brought me pork. The meat was the wrong color, wrong texture, and had little flavor. They said it was beef and the marinade changed the color and texture….never heard of a marinade removing flavor before…also the Napa Cabbage was whole leaves and the eggs were in large chunks. Bangkok Thai went from being my favorite Thai place to the bottom of my list with this meal.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally found a time to stop in. They have a very nice set up, and my waitress was friendly and her service was excellent. I had their fried calamari and Thai pepper steak. I was absolutely delicious. I will certainly be back. I want to try out other menu offerings, and their sushi.

The food is amazing, but the service was not the best. I adored the types of sushi I ordered and the miso soup. My sister got the crab salad. Every plate that I’ve seen at Bangkok is amazing in visual appearance. When the server approached our table, he was dismissive and gave the impression that he’d rather be else where. We could see into the kitchen from where we were seated and the entire restaurant was impeccable in cleanliness. I just wish for better hospitality if I go back.

Service was mediocre. 2.5 stars really. I would have given 3 stars if the waiter/operator wasn’t argumentative. I simply wanted to swap dishes because I wanted to eat in peace and not have to pick off globs of fat in order to enjoy what would have been a great dish. I only recommend take out. The fried rice dishes are fantastic. 4 stars for their fried rice.

We had the chicken satay app and sushi for our meal. We were there kind of early for dinner or late for lunch on a Saturday. The sushi was fresh, the peanut sauce was right on, and the service was good. The waiter apologized for the sushi taking a little while, but it seemed about right considering the amount we ordered. Overall a solid place. We are not from the area so I can’t compare to anywhere else in the area.

Would not recommend it! The door states they re-open at 4:30pm. We were waiting in our car for them to open and when we tried to go in at 4:33pm the door was still locked…so we waited all the while watching the staff member look at us through the windows. At 4:37, a young man finally opened the door and welcomed us in with a “we don’t open till 4:30”, we stated it was after 4:30 which the door stated, and questioned if the hours had changed? His reply was “no, but it was just a little after 4:30”. Never an apology, only snotty & sarcastic attitude for expecting the hours of service to be what was stated.

Very disappointing experience. Me and my husband come in frequently and usually get the same things. We came in recently to celebrate a birthday and the service was horrible. Right off the bat we waited up front for several minutes waiting to be seated. We ordered right away and I got my food first. Then like 20 mins later we got our sushi and then waited another 15 mins before my husband finally got his food. Very unprofessional food is supposed to come out all at once. Once I started eating the chicken didn’t taste right. I’ve had the same dish before and it’s never tasted like that. Very mushy and gross. When I said something to the waitress she went to get the manager and then the lady sat there and argued with me saying that there was nothing that she could do and that I would still have to pay for it. I only had a couple of bites and there was more than 50% of food still on the plate. After I finally told her I WAS NOT paying for something I didn’t like she finally took it off. Sad to say that is going to be the last time we eat there.

We picked up sushi for carry out, but have eaten in the restaurant before. The Spider Roll is amazing! I love that their California Roll uses actual lump crab meat (imitation is the norm, which they use here, and I’m totally fine with that). They don’t put that suspicious crab “salad” looking stuff in place of the whole piece of meat. I asked them to customize a Philly Roll too, which they did, and it was just what I wanted! This is my go-to for sushi!!!

Good food for what you’re paying. It’s actually one of my favorite places to get sushi.. but I don’t recommend getting the rice. Tastes like they poured Ramen noodle flavor packets on it. & some of the waiters there make me feel uncomfortable.
