Staff was friendly and efficient. Its like a Mexican subway. Wasn’t to impressed with the fish tacos. I love fish tacos and I make them at home all the time. First time here so I might come back and try something different. Personally I think cod or halibut in tempura batter is best. It was more like a big fish stick. Veggies were fresh so maybe a burrito next time.

Got one star because the place was clean, that’s it! The employees were not the most helpful and didn’t even make our stuff the way we wanted. Aside from the food not being made the way we ordered it was just not good at all. The beans covered the flavor of everything else. The meat portion was a joke, one tiny scoop for a big ol giant burrito. Instead of the flavor marrying in the burrito all you can taste is sloppy beans. The meat was undetectable, couldn’t taste anything at all. This place is a poor excuse for food let alone Mexican food. If you like this style of place go to Chipotle, it’s night and day better, if you prefer something that’s a little more authentic the best place that I have been able to find is Los Betos, which is way way better than this low-grade imitation bland flavorless waste of money!!

This is one of my favorite burrito joints in the treasure valley. They are big enough to fill me up. I walk in there and they just start making my food. The chairs are pretty loud though, other than that, I love this place.

On my last visit, the employees went above and beyond! They were so friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations on different menu items to try. They have so much variety! Fish tacos, burritos, salads and more, and pork, chicken, beef, and shrimp enchiladas, massive burritos, salads, nachos, and quesadillas. If you’re looking for a locally owned, fast and convenient mexican spot, I highly recommend Taco Del Mar over other places like Chipotle and Qdoba.

Ordered two shredded beef tacos. The shells break very easily. Put way too little meat on the taco’s. The taco shells melt with the meat. Please be better next time.
