Carne asada was tough and dry. Chicken was tender, but lacked flavor. Beans and rice lacked flavor. Service was friendly, but not attentive. I was disappointed after reading so many good reviews.

This is a solid, family owned Mexican spot in downtown Lincoln. While it’s a bit small and unassuming, the food is excellent and the service is great! Definitely give the different salsas a try, my personal favorite is the spicy salsa. They have a good variety of options on the menu, and nothing is too expensive. If you’re looking for Mexican in Lincoln, give these guys a shot!

We went in to try something off their menu. We chose the carne asada. Kind of dry, not much flavor. I realized why so many chose to take-out. While we were there, the cook was constantly chopping his spatula onto the grill.

I went into this place because it looked very authentic. I ordered a Chili Relleno, my fav. I was hoping for that rich egg flavor from a well made batter, sadly it wasn’t there. I have no other complaints, I enjoyed everything else.
