I had the opportunity to eat at Lofte’s in SLC on a Wednesday. The other two restaurants that are in the immediate area by the Airport Hotels are closed on those days, so thanks for being open, Lofte’s. I ordered the Ribeye Steak, it was a simple broil, butter finish and tender, very good. I just had to add a little salt for my taste . It comes with a simple house salad and choice of Pilaf or Red Skinned Potatoes. They let me sub for fries. I probably should have tried one of the other two. The fries were fresh cut, which means they need to be cooked slower or double fried, or they get a burned finish like mine had. Not the end of the world, just my critique. I’ve posted an up to date menu as I some items they list weren’t available ( I wanted the Buffalo Shrimp). Service was very nice.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lofte’s Bar and Grill, that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with genuine warmth and humble service, which set the tone for a memorable dining experience.

Word of advice: do not go there if you are not a local. You will just seat there with no water and no people to take order for more than 15 minutes. I try to talk to the server, but they just seem to ignore you and go right to other customers. It is so terrible to experience this when you are actually starving. The food looks okay though. They really give good service to other tables.

Well, its ok. This is a bar with a fairly limited menu. You are better off with beer or wine vs mixed drinks. Appears to be a locals place. All this being said the place is clean with good air conditioning. I just kept thinking about simple things you could do to make it better. It has potential!

Terrible place if you are not a local. It was 20 minutes before we were even brought a menu. Our 2 meals were brought to the table 15 minutes apart. When chicken fettuccini was finally arrived we asked for a fork, the bartender picked up the plate and asked if we had a problem. He actually wanted to fight us for requesting a fork. I could not believe what I was hearing.

Awesome little restraunt, wasn’t expecting the quality of food and drinks that we got. The server was also the bartender so maybe thats why the drinks were awesome but maybe that’s how it should be everywhere. First time in a long time I got a long island iced tea that you knew had alcohol in it. Food was great as well, decent portions and not overcooked or under cooked it was just right.

Staying at the extended stay next door. Ate at Loftes today. There’s a convenient walkway between the parking lots. Food was good. Beer was good. And great service from Brittany (best guess at spelling, sorry).

We stopped in for a drink and some dinner out on the patio. As we walked through the restaurant, I caught the eye of a waitress and asked if they were serving outside? She responded, “yes”. So, my husband and I went to the patio and sat down at an empty table. 20 minutes later and no one came out to take our order. We left. Just wasn’t in the mood for this.

Best fries in all the land. Good turkey sandwich. The waitress gal is super nice!! We go there a lot after our bike rides.
