Open for 29 years this coffee spot won’t disappoint. There is always laughter, regardless of if you choose the drive-thru or stop in to relax. Sheryl, who’s been working here since they opened and Bella both welcomed me (and everyone else who walked in) with conversion and big smiles. They are clearly happy to help their customers. The coffee is always great too! They have soups, pastries and other treats to stave off hunger and there is ample seating so you will find a place to hunker down for awhile if that is what your looking for. Eagle River is very lucky to have so many top notch coffee shops…Sleepy Dog is definitely among the best.

Delicious breakfast burritos(they’re a bit pricey but they don’t skimp on ingredients so they’re worth it) and friendly service. Oh and the coffee is amazing. Cozy homey inside atmosphere makes you want to stay and chat.
