Good but inconsistent. Some days the Mac and Cheese will be great the next day it will be watery. Some days the brisket will be dry right when the restaurant opens, some days it will be juicy. May think about going to the other location for now, they are much more consistent.

Well let me tell y’all about this here bbq place. C&J has some really good food. The potato salad is awesome and the ranch potatoes are really good too (wish they offered brown gravy with the ranch potatoes because that would have gotten them the fifth star). The brisket was pretty good though I would have rathered it have a little more fat on it. The Mac and cheese was awesome, and the cobbler was ok. The tea was excellent and fresh. Over all it was a pleasant experience. Food wise, I give it a fatman rating of a 7.5 out of 10. Definitely worth the money.

Pretty decent meats but service has been a bit desultory on the last few visits. The pulled pork and ribs are consistently good but there is too much variation in the quality of the brisket and turkey. The fried sides are always perfectly executed, the the okra being particularly good. They don’t have it on the line at times but will make it fresh if you are willing to wait. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Casual spot for BBQ. Had a Manager’s special with a sausage sandwich and Mac’n’cheese for the side. Meat had good flavor and was generously provided in the sandwich. Mac was also tasty. Overall a decent meal.

Horrible. I was going to try the sliced brisket and was given a good sample taste. I decided to order the brisket, But was given it from the back of the rack with a completely different look, smell and taste. The brisket was dry and not tender at all. The potato I had gotten was sour, and molding. The corn that I tried wasn’t bad, but had a bitterness or tangy taste to it. Fried Okra was great though. Really need to improve on most items. When you are served it looks like a middle school hot lunch. Very disappointed on the result. My family was just visiting from Seattle, and were looking forward to getting BBQ, but we were very disappointed and upset. My mom had gotten sick with food poisoning from the ribs. First, and last time coming here. I will not be returning or recommending this to ANYONE because they will be disappointed as much as we were. Get a new business.

Probably in my top three BBQ restaurant chains I have ever eaten at…though I am hard pressed at this moment to remember what the other two are. The BBQ is pretty good, but it is their sauce(especially the spicy one) that puts it over the top. The sides are very good as well. Never had a desert there so can’t weigh in on that particular subject. Overall, great food and experience every time I go. You should give it a try.
