I have no idea why there are so many idiots posting bad reviews since the new owners took over. Just had the same spicy chicken and beef teriyaki I’ve had for ever and it’s exactly the same as before! Food was amazing huge portions as usual the salad has not changed. Maybe people should stop complaining and whining and just enjoy things. Definitely still five stars. Amazing taste the best value in town for the amount of food you get!

very tasty! comes with salad and white rice automatically, gyoza is perfectly fried, and the portion you get could honestly serve 2 people. spicy chicken wasn’t too spicy, just enough for it to be good, but i wasn’t chugging my drink. best bang for your buck teriyaki in bellingham 🙂

Chicken Teriyaki is nothing incredible, but it’s tasty and you get a lot of food for the money. There’s easily 2 meals here for $13. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Bellingham in terms of value.

Hana Teriyaki is preserving an ancient PNW culinary tradition one container at a time. Walking into the slightly smoke-filled emptied restaurant makes you realize you made the right choice. Opening the container reveals a steaming-sauce-soaked pile of marinated meats highlighted with the perfect amount of delicious char telling you it is grilled fresh to order. The rice was perfectly sticky and the portions were hefty. Especially for the price! Keep doing what you are doing Hana, you are one of the last great ones left!

Chicken was dry and rubbery with very little sauce. We ordered two chicken lunches and two dinners plus 16 California rolls, which were good. Very little dressing on a sparse salad. Spicy chicken was not very spicy and the rice was lumpy and dry. We have been eating there since the 90’s and will not go back. We paid over$60 for a substandard meal.

After Hana got bought out, it went down hill folx. Watered down teriyaki sauce, chicken is dry, rice was under or even over cooked (had that crunch, you know). , California Rolls…. Like days old. Then add prices go up. People are referring to me SuperDuper or Lakeway…. Let me know y’all. Don’t fix what ain’t broken yo.

I’ve been coming here for 10 years. Super consistent, always fresh, hot, delicious teriyaki chicken. They’re fast, friendly, TASTY, and give you big portions so you’re sure to have leftovers or be full once done eating. Conveniently in the downtown area. Oh yeah also the salad sauce is delicious. Get at it. Worth your money!!
