We had the cheese pizza with Caesar salad and garlic bread. Garlic bread wasn’t very good and salad was okay. The cheese pizza was decent, but nothing special. There are tables to sit in the back and it’s pretty empty. Service was friendly and quick. Would go back for a quick slice of pizza in a pinch.

I used to go here many years back . The fact that it’s still there speaks volumes. Since I was in a rush I did have time to learn more. Convenient location. Gettin into the ever popular Lambertville n it’s traffic. Guys drive up a bit to Frenchtown and try it too..

Spent the weekend in Lambertville, literally spent hundreds of dollars on food in the main part of town. On the way home, we decided to stop by this pizzeria we have passed by many times over the years without trying it. So glad we did. We had regular and Sicilian slices along with garlic knots. Great pizza! Not Brooklyn great, but way above average. All for less than $20. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Took an off day drive out to Lambertville to do some sightseeing. I ended up stopping at this local pizzeria and was thoroughly impressed. Nicolas has been around for over 50 years, which is always a good sign, and built inside what was once a colonial era tavern. The signature pizza of this area of NJ is the Trenton upside down tomato pie ( similar to a typical New York style plain pie but with the sauce over the cheese), and their’s is excellent. The sauce was plump and naturally sweet , the ratio of sauce to cheese was typical of this style, and the crust was thin and crunchy with little flop, just the way I like it. Equally impressive was their signature cheesesteak, the “GasPipe”, made with a combination of I assume to be shaved ribeye, chicken, mushrooms, onions, garlic, spinach, eggs, and white American cheese on an Italian roll, DELISH.

Nicola’s is very cute inside and they had a fire burning in the dining area. We got jalepeno poppers, shrimp bianco pizza, and the chicken margarita pizza. The pizza was great, i would definitely eat here again

Hidden gem, I’m in here weekly. Not just the best pie in Lambertville but this place makes a better pie than most old school places in NYC or Philly. Wings are delicious as well. When they have the fireplace going it’s magical, you can thank me later.

I must say that this by far is the closest to the real deal pizza I am used to in NYC. Alex was hospitable and so informative when it came to my mothers allergies. He guided us through the menu and made the experience amazing. Thank you so much we will be back and send every one your way! My girlfriend Melody came here over the weekend. I enjoyed coming here when I was child and still is nostalgic. Their pizza a here is amazing, the atmosphere is great especially having a seat by the fireplace, and the service is wonderful!

Always a pleasure. Grabbed one to go.. perfectly cooked.. I added my own bagnana peppers at home but as far as throwing the pie back on the stone, it’s a great pizza for that. I recommend everybody get a stone for their oven. You know, for reheating the take homes.. Had a fun time at the bar while the pizza cooked.. “I was grocery shopping” if anybody aks.. Always a pleasure.
