We needed to find a quick place to eat before the Pelicans game and this dive bar was perfect. The problem was that the beef and pork were not finished cooking so we had quite a wait for our pressed poboy sandwiches! When we did get them, they were smaller than I expected but my companions had the beef and pork sandwhiches and said they were delicious! I had a muffalata and it was a tad too salty. If I was drinking a lot, I probably would not have minded it but we were walking and I wanted to keep my wits about me. The atmosphere was perfect for a dive bar. There were locals and visitors like myself and the vibe was cool.

There’s not much I can say other than I love this place. It’s small, out of the way, limited menu, unique crowd. Which means it’s sometimes really quiet and sometimes packed, the food is incredible, the bartenders super friendly and you’ll definitely make some new friends.

This Voodoo Tea was everything times ten, but they were out of the signature to go cups it is advertised to come in. The Red Beans were soupy, with not much beans and very little meat given the price tag of $15. The shrimp and grits were fine for less discriminating taste buds. (I have been a chef for over 30 years.) I had to send the gator bites back as they were cold inside, but the chef promptly corrected the oversight. Thank you, and they were delicious. Service staff were very attentive and kind, which I really appreciated.

Walked out of my way to try something new in the cbd. This place is Cash only but no where on their maps description does it say this. No big deal they have an ATM they will let you use for 4.25$. May as well charge a cover charge to get in. I would’ve been less offended. Have no idea what the food tastes like as even though everything in my body told me to go somewhere else I tried to use the ATM anyway only for it to be out of order. Oh well I tried.

Hard to tell the Cuban from the french dips. No mustard or pickles on the Cubans. No onions on the french dips. Very salty. So Food was not great, But I gotta say atmosphere, warmth of Jo the bartender and the nice gentleman who made our food will be enough to have us Try again. Everyone was just as nice and welcoming as could be. We will be back.

LOVED the vibe! My husband and I popped into this place. After visiting NOLA over 2 dozen times, because obviously NOLA is unlike any other place, we were a bit disappointed with the detached – almost abrasive – attitudes of servers from the places we always try to hit when in town. But this place – the bartender, the cook, the resident customers…everyone was so friendly, kind and talkative. Kudos to the staff and owner for caring about your customer’s experience; that’s what keeps us coming back! We had an amazing Po’ Boy too! Thank you for being human and caring about how our food was, how our visit was and setting a nice vibe in your establishment! We will back and will be referring The Little Easy to our friends and family who always ask us where to go when visiting NOLA. Also, it was refreshing to see the jovial banter between the bartender and cook too. It seems so rare these days.
