Tried La Montana for the first time and loved it! The wait staff were very friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly and our entire order was correct. The food was fresh and everything had amazing flavor. The dining area was very clean and pleasant. And the price is very reasonable. My wife and I had two drinks, an appetizer, two main entree’s, and some extra sides, for a total bill under $50! A great Mexican dining experience. I highly recommend them and definitely will be returning.

WOW!!! I am so so impressed with this place and absolutely blown away by everything! The food, the drinks, the music, the service!! All of it is on point and the staff is so so friendly! Not a thing came out late or wrong! The drinks are so so good and taste great but get you feeling right! Couldn’t be happier and I promise you won’t be either! I will be frequenting this establishment more! Please just go !!!

I ate at this several times all great experiences except for yesterday. I asked the bust boy for a napkin. He did not give me one. I went to the restroom to use it before I left the restaurant. I was washing my hands when the same bust boy came into the ladies room. He looked at me while I washed my hands in the sink then checked to make sure that the paper towel holder was locked with the key in his hand. Then he left the ladies restroom while I was still washing my hands. I tried to use the paper towel machine but it didn’t work. I paid my bill, tipped the waiter with cash then left the restaurant with wet hands. I will never go back to the place.

Wowzza, what a wonderful experience. Friendly greeting when we arrived. Later found out it was the manager. Beautifully decorated, bright, and clean. The menu is a piece of artwork and the pictures of the food match what the server brings to the table. Miguel, server, checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed and how we liked the food. Huge serving, too. Brought extra napkins without being asked. *Note: there are reviews complaining about being charged for chips. The first huge basket is free. Additional chips are .50 and posted in an orange circle on each page of the menu. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

I’ve lovvvvedddd this place since they first opened and they are usually my first recommendation besides SR.Sol but this time the birra tacos was old roast with barley any meat and 90% fat. The tortilla tasted like grease soaked foam. Only thing That was edible this time was the rice and even that tasted hard like reheated rice.I am extremely disappointed as every single time they are usually tender and delicious even if I do a pick-up order. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them as I go almost every 2 weeks.

I finally got a chance to visit here last night while the power was out everywhere. They were extremely busy but with the amazing service and excellent food you couldn’t tell. I placed a to go order and it was out in less than 10 minutes. Food was great and service was excellent.

The food and service are excellent. The restaurant is clean and well kept. This restaurant is in the top three of Athens. prices of the very cheap. We fed four adults and two children for $65.

Best Mexican food in Athens GA! Please, please stay, and I’ll be a loyal customer when I come into town! Burrito Mexicano was delicious and I appreciated the recommendation by the gentleman taking my takeout order. Hefty portions with a great price. Chips and delicious salsa complimentary.

This place has really good drinks. The food gives good portion sizes. Really good tacos. I’ve ate here 3 times so far and sometimes the food is cold or not fresh. I’d eat here again. Mainly for the good drinks.
