Had a great meal at Vitale’s for my birthday with my family. I always love the bread and oil, I had crab bisque soup, shrimp scampi and tiramisu. Hosted a party of 30 for a bridal shower this weekend. Noreen and Doreen were awesome – from helping set the room until the end, excellent service. Food was great and the space was perfect, if you’re looking to host an event with private space (restaurants closed to the public until dinner time) definitely consider Vitale’s!

After a major issue with our original venue, Vitale’s was available at the very last minute to accommodate 40+ people for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Justin and his staff were incredibly kind and patient when I was panicking about not having a place to feed all the people I was expecting! They let me come in and use the decorations I had purchased for the original venue and store all my gifts on their second floor. The food, the atmosphere and the service was excellent. I cannot stress enough how everyone raves about the food and the service! I’m amazed and blown away by their incredible customer service. I will be a loyal customer for life.

Came here, an Italian restaurant, on st paddy’s day for some reason so the atmosphere was a lil off hearing bagpipes while chomping on garlicky dishes. One of the better meals I’ve had in Gloucester. Would absolutely come back. The garlic rosemary and oil they give you with the bread was a real highlight of the meal.

We usually enjoy our experience at Vitales. The food is excellent. However, tonite we felt slighted by the bartender who served us. I felt that he disrespected my husband when he asked for another check because the original copy was wet. Additionally we waited for service an unusually amount of time while he taked with other customers. Inspite of this, we left a generous tip which we hope will be reciprocated in the future.
