We tried the haddock and the lamb rack and they both tasted great. Each entree comes with either soup or salad, of which I chose the onion soup and the melted cheese on top was so yummy. Now everything, almost everything was perfect and I would have given this place a five star if the $16 jumbo shrimp wasn’t such a joke. Look at the picture and you will agree.

My family and I stopped by the Tamaqua Station Restaurant for the first time after passing by it countless times. We would always say we really need to stop there. This time we did and definitely glad we did. Set in an old historic train station that feels like you are walking back in time. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. Our waitress was just as nice and very attentive. As for the food, everything was fantastic! From the appetizers through to dessert! As we left were met one of the owners, the wife of the husband and wife team who was super nice to talk with. Her husband is the chef and a damn good one I might add. All in all it was a fantastic experience and we will most definitely be back many more times!

What a find! Definitely coming back when possible! The food, service and atmosphere are beyond delightful. It was a great experience. I had the Crab crusted Haddock and my wife had the Oscar dinner with Salmon. Portions were generous and a great price for what you get!

Drove about 45 minutes to get here from Catawissa. It was worth the drive. Had an on-site piano player start about 5pm. Really nice train station vibe, very good food and very clean. We will be back.

Everyone from the hostess,waitstaff, and concierge where excellent! The food was well prepared and presentation and taste were exceptional! I had the salad with gorgonzola,pears and walnuts. My husband had the New England Clam Chowder. We shared the Reuben. Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared, excellent staff,five stars! Don’t miss this historic gem!
