Always good. The white fish I had (I had to go ask what kind of fish it was) the cod was AMAZING tasted like no cod I’ve ever had before. Last time I got turkey and dressing. This place has never disappointed me. The only problem is that as you go down the cafeteria line you will fill up you tray there is just too many good selections of things.

Luby’s move aside. This iconic establishment prices are slightly higher that other similar eateries, but worth it. It is clean, well designed and the food like grandmas. Portions are big. Highly satisfied. When it comes for desserts, great variety.

Cleburne’s is a high end Piccadilly cafeteria without being high end in the pricing. I ordered to go but still looked around the place and will be back for a sit-down lunch! I had the chicken fried steak, mac and cheese and corn. I also had country gravy on the side. Everything was lightly seasoned but well textured. This is becoming a favorite way to prepare food. The atmosphere was pleasant and not loud. They also serve wine and beer. I wouldn’t day drink while working but I would come here. It felt like a throwback to an era gone by but I wasn’t afraid to go in and get food. I recommend this place if you like a cafeteria type restaurant!

Houston’s hidden treasure, a must see/visit for true homemade from scratch food. Cleburne’s Cafetería will take you back to yesterday when fresh/delicious cafeteria food was prime w/a vast eye pleasing selection to choose from including comfort food popular delectables. As you walk in there’s a beautiful display of Cleburne’s family history as one would display @ home. Nice touch for the public to know they’re welcome to their family of food service. Walking through the food line will entice any1 to choose more than 1 can eat bcoz ANYTHING on their menu is absolutely delicious! My sis & I visited after a Dr. appt in Houston we’re from Houston Suburbs. We heard they served turkey/dressing daily so we had to try it, it was superb! Nice that servers carry extra cranberry sauce in their cart Kudos to La Cubana Yani who tended to our table ensuring dishes were cleared. Friendly environment/staff makes for gr8 rapport Dessert was to die for we had blueberry cake was super soft, delicious w/just the right sweet not over powering just perfect! The only slight drawback was the total (2) turkey dressing dinners, we shared the sides: spinach & raisin/carrot salad, we both had water, total =$50 Ouch! Once we tasted everything we felt it was all well worth everything cent compared to any other run of the mill place where lunch for 2 w/a drink is easily $30+ taste is no comparison to Cleburne’s fresh/delicious staple.
