Ordered take out from here a few times. Every time has been disappointing. Today’s dishes were either soggy or way over cooked. Two meals had smashed pickle spears and floppy chippers, one had everything basically burnt. Too much money wasted to give them money for a fourth try. Pictures are the differences in chippers and then the over done meal.

First time at the Wooden Nickel. Dive bar oozing with atmosphere and attitude. Ordered the half pound burger smothered with all the fixins. Flame cooked just right, very tasty. Huge selection of domestic and import beer. Definitely a return food destination!

Definitely a gem of a Sports/Dive bar with a up north cabin feel. Fantastic food grilled on the grill right up front. Really good deal GameDay too. Free popcorn, dart board, touchtunes digital music, ATM, and a couple arcade slot machine. This Lions fan crew of 6 enjoyed it.

Seems like a nice bar. They have trivia on Wednesdays I believe which was fun when I went once. Otherwise it’s kind of a dark bar, the atmosphere is okay I’ve never seen it really really full of people, quite empty actually. The bartenders have always been really nice and the drinks are good. Older bar, Not a ton of people when I’ve ever been there.

Went in on Sunday to get lunch, servers were nice, but I asked for tomatoes on my ham and cheese sandwich, was charged for tomatoes, but recieved no tomatoes. I didn’t have an opportunity to complain, as they never really paid attention to us. It wasn’t busy either.

They have very good popcorn and it’s free. A wide selection of beers on tap. All the bartenders are very friendly and there are a lot of TV monitor to watch from the bar. They run a very good fantasy football league and party. The pizzas are very good and reasonably priced.

Came here for a drink before our painting class, & was pleasantly surprised. Interior is dim & cozy, bartenders were friendly & working hard to serve a large crowd. Appetizer was pretty good too. Would definitely visit again!

Honestly probably one of the worst places I’ve eaten at. We literally had the complete bottom of a bag of chips for our spin dip and the wings were completely overdone and chewy. Half of the wings didn’t even have sauce on it. Oh and the grilled cheese you ask? They only cooked the outside of the bread and left the cheese completely unmelted. 10/10 would not recommend.

Very unfortunate review, I have been stopping at the establishment for a good chunk of time and it was very good in the past, today I had the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in quite some time. The waitress’s did not know how to cook/multi task. Ordered a chicken wrap with some chippers. She forgot the chippers and than gave half cooked ones to me. After waiting to pay I had to speak up to be able to pay so I could get back to work. She than rang up my bill with my coworkers all in one without asking. Service was slow, food was wrong, and all around a sad day for one of my previous favorite places.
