Shortly after the 11/30 earthquake, my husband and I connected with Tara to arrange our son’s Groom’s Dinner. While much of the community was still in a jumble, we wanted to have the celebration in our hometown. Tara was WONDERFUL to work with and had ideas and suggestions that were very helpful to us. When we arrived with our party of 35 or so – our number kept adjusting up and down – Tara had the room set for us and ready to go. Our dinner was AMAZING and our guests both local and from out of town loved the food she made. Thank you, Tara. We’ll recommend you to anyone! Five STARS!

So I have been here five different times. Two of those times absolutely loved my food. One of them was alright and the other 2 times I didn’t take more then a couple bites. I have had good service every time but last night. Last night I waited 30 minutes to even see my waiter and that’s because someone went and got her. Then from there our three meals were brought out at least 5 minutes apart. So from first plate to last plate it took about 15 minutes to get all our dinners. Everyone seemed pretty new which I get but then the one seasoned waitress was kinda rude to the staff and when they asked for help she wouldn’t help or told them to ask Ceasar. Typing it up it doesn’t sound that bad but overall not a great experience. If we go again it won’t be for dinner during the week that seems to be when the food is most inconsistent.

Finally had the opportunity to dine in, it was better than I expected. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff was pleasant. The food is so much better when you dine in instead of take out.

5 years ago I would give it 5 stars, they made the most amazing Halibut Caesar salad, but after they expanded their building the food quality went down. Sometimes they have good waiters/waitresses, sometimes they have significant wait times. Occasionally they’ll have consistent food quality. Due to their inconsistent services and food quality we’ve discontinued going. Italian food is my favorite, unfortunately they have lost us as a customer.

I have visited the venue for 11 years, and since the expansion, I witnessed the quality of food slipping. I used to blame cold food and inattention to plating -sloppy food serving-on busy nights. Tonight, a not so busy Thursday, while staff was super friendly as usual, there was no hostess, and serving staff appeared to be understaffed. Food arrived warm, and the tastes were off, too many herbs in one dish, and not properly seasoned in another. We saw another customer ask for “Tabasco!!!!”

Lack of options is what I feel drives the rating of others. As for me….Well, when they opened the menu was small, the food reflected that. Never had a bad meal then. As time went on…..Now the menu is way too big to focus on cooking to quality IMO. Meaning, it went down hill. I would love to see them cut the menu and improve on what they have to offer.

Just ordered a salad and this is what I got, a lot of water and burned tasteless bread. I’ve tried to love this place but I keep getting disappointed.

Homey, inviting, pleasant aroma of yeast bread baking. Service was very good, food was even better. We were surprised with the amount of sopapillas, so many and a lovely presentation, not overly sweet, either. The coffee was flavorful, too. I will be dining here again.

Editing my prior review. Was a great place 3 years ago when we moved here and has drastically gone down hill since. From the service, to the food quality. It is very hit or miss on if the food is any good. Mostly it’s cold and undercooked, or burnt and crunchy. It’s almost like they are focusing on other locations and this one can be their losing tax write off. Forgotten and uncared for.

We have ordered delivery quite a few times and we love it! The delivery is always on time and piping hot. The food is exceptional, especially the chicken marsala. This is quickly becoming our favorite restaurant in Eagle River!
