My son and I used to be once a month customers. Prices are through the roof. You can actually go to El Tapatio and spend the same money. And that is a sit down restaurant. Totally overpriced for what it is. Very sad. And they kicked us out at 7pm when we had just spent 40$ for dinner plus tip for counter service. I won’t be back. It’s like spending 40$ for two people at Carl’s Jr. Very Sad, used to be able to get dinner for two there for around 25$. But 40$ is ridiculous. The food is good. But not that good. Not better than some of the sit down places in town. But certainly the price is the same.

4 star for fast and cheap but no love or flavor in this food. Chicken comes from 3 different cooked meals prior and goes from from chunky gristle brown meet to small cubed dry white meat in the.same dish. I ordered chicken everything in my combo but got old tasting shredded beef in the taco. Taco shell is stail or undercooked (too hard) and rice is over Chile seasoned spicy. Creamy guacimole ok but chile releno wayyy over cooked with dark brown egg and too much Chile. No relano! Sauces are ok but ingrediants dont taste fresh. Refried beans undercooked and too wet. No flavor. Rice and beans burried under a bed of shredded lettuce and a few corn chips.. Lettuce was fresh. Couldn’t eat most of it. Too gross.

I ordered an entree called the locos nachos. It was a very generous portion, perhaps a little too generous but the proportion to beans in relation to everything else was ridiculous. It’s like the thing was drenched in like 3 pounds of refried beans. I doubt anyone will want to be in a confined space with me for next two weeks or so. The service was underwhelming. The gentleman was polite enough but not friendly at all. He did not come across as being very invested in what he was doing. Also did not like that soft drinks there are $2.50 with no refills for free. That’s a bit steep for a place of this sort. But I apologize heartily in advance for my upcoming contribution to greenhouse gases and global warming.
