I was really hoping I would love this place to support my fellow Ecuadorians but I did not. Was a party of 5 and we all agreed we would not be back. They charge practically for everything to include the water they gave us. Who charges for water? The homemade hot sauce is good but they also charged for that. The guatita portion ($16 approx) was small and what I got was mostly potatoes and a few bite size pieces of the tripe and of course a hefty portion of white rice. Flavor was good but they were stingy with the meat. The shrimp ceviche was ok at best and we had some baked chicken that was very ordinary. The young lady who served us knew very little English and when I complained in Spanish about the lack of tripe she just smiled and laughed. Half of the items on the menu were not available, yet they decided to open to the public. When we revised the bill at the end, we had a service charge that we brought to the attention of another woman who seemed to be a manager and she did remove. Overall the experience was lacking and it’s a no for me and us.

Visited this place for the first time today. Not very impressed, the staff seemed disorganized however they were really nice. Ordered the pollo guisado and the chicken soup. The pollo guisado was dry, the rice and beans were not bad. The llapingacho that came with my dish was cold.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. The owner was really nice and attentive at all times. I stoped by for breakfast and had “mote pillo, empanada de yuca y colada quaker “ the flavor was outstanding. They also included in the plate a little thing of home made Ecuadorian hot sauce which was amazing.
