This restaurant is nestled behind other businesses, Kinda hard to see. Inside is beautiful. Love the decor! The front is hard to get in, kind of a tight space. Parking is tricky. Service was on top. Food was good. Great atmosphere. Restrooms were clean & well stocked. The service was exceptional. We had asked for a table next to an outlet, because I am on portable oxygen, and my battery was dead. So, it was extremely nice to be able to charge my tank while we ate! Outstanding.

We had two taco bowls and the beef tacos, they were good except one thing. The meat in all 3 dishes was unseasoned. The meat was so bland and flavorless. The beef especially seemed almost dry like they drained all grease and rinsed the meat and took all flavor off. I will say the idea of a taco bowl using the image of it being a giant taco was neat and unique, unfortunately not really saving it much.

I’m a Latina from California and was in town visiting family, when my nephew suggested going to El Rancherito for lunch and gotta say I ordered one of the best Chilaquiles I ever eaten. It was quite a bit of food at a very reasonable price. I had to get a to go box because I couldn’t finish my plate. My nephew ordered a wet burrito with queso blanco and his friend ordered a chicken salad with pollo in a hard shell. I loved the atmosphere, the colorful decor and the black & white photos of Mexican celebrities like the famous comedian “Cantiflas”. I will be back hopefully again & again.
