The service wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. If you can deal with an untrained waiting staff be my guest. The main problem I have with this restaurant is the food. I ordered a fried snapper with fries and plantains. The snapper was not fresh at all and was pre cooked which is a huge problem for someone coming from the Caribbean, we know fresh seafood when we taste it. It’s too pricey for lack of quality and quantity in my opinion.

Food isn’t bad,wait staff aren’t the best but it is what it is and be prepared to pay gratuity which I found annoying because let’s face it??it’s a nice dump and not 5star service. I had the carne asada and my kid had the Chicken fingers.. I love across the street and come here when I absolutely must on my days when I don’t wanna wait for Uber or cook.

Update 7/31/23: I’ve ordered take out a few times but I am turned off because they charge gratuity even for take out orders. They’re charging tips for me to drive and pick it up… sounds like a pure scam. I normally leave a small tip when I order takeout anywhere but just rubs me wrong that they force a tip even for take out. They should fix their system. //// Previous review: Ordered on doordash and happy i did. Got the sopa de res and sopa de mondongo… both beyond flavorful and soothing soups. Also super hearty with vast amounts of meat and veggies… wish they gave more rice for the large soups but thats just my preference cause I love drenching the rice in the soup (en el caldo). And the prices are unbeatable. loveee this place!!
