Pretty good place to enjoy drinks. They had a Trivia eve on Friday when I went. Crowd was very energetic and nice vibe overall. About the staff, they were okay. Not the most welcoming, but definitely not like few other places I have been in Redmond/Kirkland area. That was the only reason for not giving 5*.

Have been coming to the Thirsty Hop for years. It has become a reference destination in this part of town. I’ve visited many times since the recent change in ownership and focus. I love it. The food menu is excellent, with many interesting choices, not only on the sushi side but other Japanese – and Korean- themed options. The beer and drinks choices are also great and include many classical, well crafted cocktails plus some delicious originals.

Came here for sushi and had a good experience. They were less busy than I expected for a Friday night, so we were able to get seated right away. The service was quick, and the chef and bartender were kind and welcoming. We also appreciated the presentation of the sushi. We would dine here again!

This was my second time to Thirsty Hop, and first time since sushi was added to the menu. Had a nice sushi dinner plate – 7 pieces of nigiri and choice of tuna or salmon roll. The fish was quality and not served with too much rice. Tap menu is excellent – lots of variety and not too focused on the IPA trend. Definitely would go back if I’m in the area! Service needed some work; only one person was working front of the house that I saw.
