After having excellent service from our server Raine spoke briefly with manager Eric to commend the kitchen and wait and bar staff on making everything come together in a delicious meal experience. Enjoyed the tuesday prime rib special. They swapped out the baked potato for mashed with a delicious beef gravy mmmmm delicious. Although they do have tacos too. My dining friend had the ban mi sandwich and fries which is also good. OMG the deep fried Brie fritters with Cherry Compote started the meal off with a surprising combination that just works a bit of sweet and hot brie a new favorite for me mmmmm hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did. bon Apetit! The Rams Head Tavern is truly a gem, and the Crispy Duck Tacos are one of the best dishes on their menu. The atmosphere of the tavern is warm and inviting, with friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. But the real star of the show are the Crispy Duck Tacos – the flavors are simply divine, with tender and succulent duck paired with crispy, fresh veggies and a perfect balance of seasoning and spices. Every bite is an explosion of taste that will leave you wanting more. It’s clear that the chef takes great care and pride in their dishes, and the result is simply outstanding. Pre-show dinner last night (Restuarant) across the board top notch. Brussels Sprouts app, chefs special Snapper Newberg & a finished with a hot brownie desert. Our server was nothing less than incredible she shared her favorites – we followed & glad we did. (Big tip) Much more than pub food.

We were in town for a wedding and after the reception ended, a large portion of the guests descended upon the basement of the Tavern. Brian took care of us all evening and was one of the best bartenders we’ve ever had. He was kind, engaging, made great drink suggestions, and mixed fantastic cocktails. We all left saying to each other how we loved the bar and how Brian had made a fun evening even better. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

I had dinner at Rams Head Tavern on Saturday January 14th. The presentation of the food was great!! The seasoning was missing. We all ordered appetizers with crabmeat which definitely was missing. There was plenty of cheese in the crabby tots and crab dip, but the taste of crabmeat was very noticeable. The Chesapeake Deviled eggs were missing the taste of crabmeat and Old Bay. The bacon bits sprinkled around them added some flavor. My Salmon BLT was a great choice, but there was no hint of seasoning. I added my friend’s tartar sauce which helped. My French fries were lukewarm. I had read the reviews of other diners, but wanted to formulate my own opinion. I was disappointed by my meal. Our server was great!! She was very pleasant and attentive to our requests. Loved the close proximity of restaurant to show area. Cocktails were good!!

Visited the Ramshead Tavern for dinner tonight before the Gavin DeGraw show and started off with the Mango Cosmopolitan…chased with a Budlight of course, it was fabulous. My entre was the Bistro Filet Medallions with mashed potatoes and asparagus and it was spot on! My wife had the Veggie Burger and said it was fantastic. There is outside patio seating as well as a pub located underneath the street level bar which is very interesting. Our server was very attentative and went out of there way to ensure we had a fine dinning experience before the show. We really had a great dining experience and recommend you give it a try when in Annapolis.
