Stopped by for the first time to sample their cake to see if I would like to use them in the future for my special occasion cakes I normally will purchase from another area baker. I bought a small chocolate cake nosh, a vanilla cupcake with white buttercream and a cherry vanilla pound cake loaf. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. Both, the vanilla and chocolate cakes were hard and stale. The pound cake appeared very firm and dense, but when I cut a slice the inside was COMPLETELY RAW and oddly dry. As a novice cake connoisseur and hospitality professional, I thought it best for the shop owner to be aware of the short comings of their product. When I returned the product the following day, the woman who sold them to me seemed to have no interest or concern about the problems I had with the cake and immediately offered my money back. My issue was the cake and concern for the shop owner. The return of my money was NOT my priority. That poor attitude and lack of concern of my input to help them out will keep me from returning there. Sorry AOB.
