Great service! We never thought of stopping by the plaza because it’s right off a busy hwy. I do not regret stopping by! We will definitely return!. From the outside it looks like a regular to go restaurant but once you walk in the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. Thank you for a great meal.

I was happily surprised by the variety & quality of food I received at Kumo Sushi. I tried several sushi rolls: Hurricane, Golden tree, & salmon. I will definitely be ordering the hurricane and salmon roll next time & trying some new rolls as well. The chicken hibachi smelled amazing, too. I was very pleased with our service and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Pictured is the hurricane roll after I had already started eating it.

High level experience. This restaurant is suitable for a romantic date. The decoration looks oriental and elegant. The service was very helpful. The food is delicious.Gyozas (Pan Fried Pork Dumplings) were my appetizer, and for the entrée, I tried five rolls: the Shrimp Tempura Roll, Philadelphia Roll (With Smoked Salmon), Shrimp Avocado Roll, Salmon Skin Roll, and Fancy Salmon Roll (cooked salmon whole roll deep-fried top with spicy mayo).. It was more than enough for two people, but everything was delicious. Of course, I want to come back to this place and try more rolls.

We were expecting a little bit more flavorful sushi, however, it was rather bland. The fried sushi was also sort of stale. We did pick it up to bring home but we don’t live that far away so I didn’t expect it to maybe get stale that fast. The atmosphere seemed really nice for inside dining. However, the staff lacked very much personality when just picking up sushi to go. As it’s one of the more local places, I might give it another try and will update my ratings upon my next visit. However, right now this is what I feel is accurate. The crab rangoon seemed very sweet, It needed something to offset the sweetness of the cream cheese that’s in it, didn’t really feel like there was much else other than cream cheese.

Excellent presentation and highly tasty sushi rolls. Affordable and nice to have so close to Holly Springs and in Fuquay Varina. The one drawback is that service is a bit slow, and wait staff seem somewhat disorganized. Would still recommend with a large side of patience.
