Were lucky to have been able to stop in here. We’re not in the area very often and had a great visit. Between the ribs, wings, loaded fries, tenderloin and catfish.. none of us were disappointed. The potato salad and greens are worth talking about also! We’re looking forward to our next stop in the area!

I use to eat here when this restaurant first opened. It was much better then. I ate here most recently on 8/19/23, and the food was horrible. I ordered chicken wings and the menu says they come whole with fries. However, I received drummettes with no fries. Although I ordered red hot Buffalo ranch flavored, I’m pretty sure that’s not what I got. All I could taste was garlic, salt, and burnt grease. I attempted to eat them but ended up trashing them. My family ordered fried catfish, fried okra, green beans, yams, and peach cobbler. The fried okra and catfish was flavorless as if it had no seasoning. The sides tasted like they were straight up out of a can with a little bit of attempt to doctor them up, and the peach cobbler crust seemed gooey/raw. The cashier was a little dismissive at times also. I won’t be returning any time soon. The one good thing is the prices are reasonable. Maybe a place like this depends on who the cook is on a particular day.

I absolutely love this place. I want to try everything on the menu for sure. I will be back to try other options. I had the catfish fillets with homemade greens and Mac n cheese and a peach cobbler for dessert. It was absolutely amazing. The people are warm and inviting and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. This is my new favorite place and if you like great homemade food and good people, this will be your new favorite place too. Fantastic job y’all

Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs. There are so many good things to say about this place. Large portions, great taste, and most importantly friendly staff. We will definitely be back. If I had to pick my favorite from what we ordered, I would have to say the brisket fries were a favorite for myself and my group.
