What a nice little gem we found. Being from Europe ourselves ( Holland) it was really nice to have some European food instead of the American steaks and hamburgers.

The food was good with many German selections to choose from! The alcohol choices were abundant and reminiscent of Germany! The atmosphere is simplistic, but still had a nice European charm. Unfortunately, it was 95+ outside and felt like 85-90 inside by the time we left. As the business became more and more busy, the service was more distracted with multiple customers, and it took quite a while to clear the table and get the check.

We arrived at 6 pm ordered an appetizer and two full meals. 7:00 came and went no appetizer, no salads. No word on when the food would be ready. We arrived early so we could eat and go to the rodeo which started at 8:00. By 7:00 the manager couldn’t tell us if the food would be out in time. So we left and drove through Arby’s. She comped my hubbys beer, but we won’t be back. What could have been a relaxing evening was ruined, I was hungry and had a headache by the time we left. I had been looking forward to a nice dinner and it was my idea to choose this place because I like German food. Guess I didn’t choose well this time.

German selection of food was good. Beer menu provided only had 3 beers to choose from. None german food ordered was gross and not editable. Owner offered 10% discount on food that was not fit to be eaten. Will never come back or recommend.

As another reviewer said, we really wanted to like this place. The food was not great. The rahmsauce had no flavor at all. Both my son and husband had the fried potatoes. My son’s were cooked perfectly and my husband’s were way overcooked. My son’s chicken schnitzel was tough. I don’t think the food we had was worth the price we paid at all. We were disappointed as we come to Cody every year and have always wanted to try this restaurant.

My jagerschnitzel dinner was good. We wanted to try some beer but only 3 available from the menu. Our table also ordered shrimp and fries and sampler. Shrimp tasted off, was mealy and not edible. The executive chef gave us a 10% discount for the bad meal.

First i would like to thank the business owner for checking on her guess. The service was unbelievable rude. We weren’t ready to order and asked her ro come back she said it would mess up the kitchen ? Not sure what that meant. We asked about the food and how to order and just ended up ge shrimp baskets.
