I came back today to give Sonic in Denison a second chance after waiting over 15 minutes for nobody to take my order yesterday. I arrived, ordered immediately and didn’t have to wait long for my meal. The meal itself didn’t taste fresh and half of the tots were crumbled and messy. Some days are better than others, but I will not be coming back.

Quite a few of the drive-up slots did not have working screens which is difficult when you’re wanting to pick up an online order. When we did check in there was nothing on the screen to even acknowledge we were there. The server was very nice, though.

This location has always been fairly slow when it comes to service, but I’ve given them the benefit of doubt because I figured they were making orders from scratch. I don’t know if it’s from a lack of staffing or just a desire not to work, but they’re not ever truly busy. I’m also not sure what part of NO CHEESE you don’t understand, dear Sonic employees, but after ordering Jr. Burgers sans cheese THREE different times and receiving them topped with it anyway… I think there’s a disconnect somewhere. Not everyone loves cheese, so why automatically serve burgers this way? Maybe it’s God’s way of telling me that I don’t need to eat Sonic, but whatever it is, I’ve seen the sign and I won’t be returning.
