Comfortable environment, live cajun music, foods were greatly proportioned, homemade deserts were amazing, & prices were great. We definitely left in a food coma. I had the hamburger steak. It was somewhat bland but the meat was welldone like i like the meat. The presentation was amazing. My fiancé had the spaghetti & meatballs. The meatballs were huge and so yummy. The spaghetti sauce tasted amazing. We had the homemade desert bread pudding. It was very delicious. Everything was fresh and fulfilling.

Really great food, one of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve ever eaten. The portions are very large. Be prepared to have leftovers. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. It is always been an enjoyable experience, every time.

We went last night and it was not a packed place. We waited an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered to receive our meal. The appetizer was spinach and artichoke dip, which it should just be called spinach and bread. The entree I ordered was shrimp etoufee. I received a white sausce over cold rice. I said I did not want it. I ordered hamburger steak cause they can not mess this up right? Well, they said it was not thawed then said it was. After an hour and 40 minutes I finally get a meal. My wife ordered shrimp alfredo and it was served with angel hair pasts. Absolute terrible service and they did not even bother adjusting the bill after the ordeal. I would not recommend and we will not go back.

The restaurant decor was definitely dated. Seems like the building is also American Legion meeting place. Very spacious not cozy if that’s what you’re looking for. Also was unusually dark for lunch. Menu was mostly seafood but did have meat dishes.
