Taste Of Philly Menu – Colorado Springs, CO

Type : Cheesesteak restaurant

Location : Colorado Springs, CO

Most cities, like most people, are known by many characteristics. Their buildings, their neighborhoods, their people, and, not least of all, their foods. Some of these foods reflect the character of the city and its ethnic heritage. We are proud to share these with you and we think that you will find them, like Philadelphia and its people, most enjoyable.

One item that has made Philadelphia famous and has been enjoyed by its natives is the hoagie. It reflects the strong presence of Italian heritage that began primarily in South Philadelphia, around the original colonial settlements. Some will dispute its origin, but no one can dispute its popularity there and in the surrounding region.

Local sandwich chain offering Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks & hoagies with all the trimmings. Based on 919 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.3 stars. Price $

Delicious phillysteaks with tons of options. Plus, they can do any type of combinations—my daughter wanted hers without onions and they could do it. (I didn’t think it would be good, but it was!) My sun had the buffalo and didn’t leave a single bite.

Really tasty and the large fry is easily sharable. The traditional cheesesteak was really good!

I absolutely love this location better than the other locations in town. The best food and it gave me memories of home (philly) best cheesesteak I’ve had so far. They even made the fries I wanted (customized) to all the Cheeses and added bacon to what I been wanting from back home, called Mega Fries. Definitely closer to anything I’ve tried here in colorado. Thank you so much for the experience and helping my pregnancy cravings! Really appreciate. I will definitely be back for more ☺️

I have enjoyed Taste of Philly for years. They are always freshly made, great quality food. I have been to 3 locations and the quality is always great. I enjoyed my dinner a lot.

Very good Philly cheese steak. I wish they put more cheese though! It’s nice and full of meat, but I really would love more cheese. The prices are affordable and the guys are nice.

I have eaten at Taste of Philly at Cimarron and 8th many times. The Original Philly sandwich is great and the fries are some of the best in the city. I recommend eating here.

This place has the closest to true Philly subs. I personally get The Works and fried mushrooms. The dining area is your normal fast food feel.

On June 29th I called in an order for a works sandwich w green chili. On the website it says the works is $11.50. When I went to cash out it was over $15. When I asked about the price the lady behind the counter raised her voice and cut me off. I was very embarrassed because she started speaking to me like I am a child. I am not concerned about the money because I pay around $15 for lunch most places I go. I was simply asking a question. I got my food and still put a dollar in the tip jar because maybe she was having a bad day. I know she is the manager because she was conducting and interview. When I got back to work I called in and right away she started yelling again after cutting me off from speaking. I work right across the street and have went there several times because I like the food. I usually don’t pay attention to the price because like I said the money wasn’t the issue. If I had a price on my website that was incorrect I would take care of my customer and handle the rest internally. When my girlfriend visits me for lunch that was our go to place. After today I will never step foot in there again. We will find somewhere else to eat and when my co-workers ask what I want from there I will be sure they know I will not support this business. Maybe a good idea to keep a person like that in the back and not deal w customers. She was even condescending when I called in my order.

Great Philly cheese steak! Given a choice of 8inch or 12inch. I went for the 12. It was enough for 2 or more people. Service at the register…. With a smile.

Keep it local! I know sometimes you can’t, but for my hoagies (subs) and cheesesteaks, this is the spot! The sandwich rolls add so much to the experience. Subway is minor league, single-A compared to this place, and Jersey Mike’s is like that last place team in the show, on that same scale.
