We came here as a travel baseball team between games. We called ahead to make sure we wouldn’t overwhelm them, and they were not only welcoming, they prepared for us. The manager was very gracious, the server was friendly and fun, their processes were dialed-in and the food was very good. They have a dining room away from the bar with a game area and an outdoor patio.

Food was mid. Food came out for 3 of the 4 of party. My daughter got her pizza just as we finished eating. Told us there was a problem with pizza oven . Service was super attentive and friendly, atmosphere seemed dated and it was super loud despite the number of people. I think the acoustics just suck. Decent selection of craft beers. I say go check it out. The service and beer selection make it worth a shot

We went to see my friend’s band play and it was such a nice atmosphere. The bartenders were very personable and fun to talk to. I would recommend checking it out when they have live music going, one of Hortonville’s best in my opinion.

My wife and I had dinner for the first time at Stroh’s 5 Grub and Pub on a Friday night and both got the fish. The way they bread the fish makes it mouthwatering and will come again to try another meal. The wait was a little long but with a small kitchen we completely understood. The bartenders were very friendly and everyone was in a pleasant mode. Thank you for an outstanding dinner!

The wait staff were very accommodating. Our extended family spurred a visit on them and they were able to make the logistics work. We sort of bombarded them on a Monday night around 7:30-8:00. The food was delicious. The bar could use a little more selection for bourbons but that just might be me.

My family and I are newer to Hortonville and have been branching out, trying some of the local restaurants in town. We decided to get pizza last night and called in a request not on their menu. I picked up the pizza in record time and was super excited when I snuck a peak- it looked delicious and prayer it was as good as it looked. Let me stop rt there! It was beyond delicious! The thin crust was almost like a buttery-cracker. Not heavy on the sauce which we hate, and they did NOT skimp on the toppings! We all agreed we are going back to try their other menu items, hands-down. Please consider the drive if you’re not from Hortonville- their pizza is amazing! I’ll be sure to post more on this soon-to-be local favorite!
