I almost don’t want to elaborate on how amazing this place is in order to keep it my secret, but this food is seriously amazing. Quaint little hole in the wall restaurant. We got 6 tacos and two margaritas and the total was $35 – great deal for the quality of food. We started to chat it up with one of the regulars and he raved about the pupusas, and then we were surprised to find he bought us one and sent it to the table and OMG it was incredible. We’ll be back!!

This was the BEST Mexican food ever!! The homemade sauces, rice, beans, shredded chicken was out standing!

Easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in Vancouver. The fried plantains are incredible, the tacos are flavorful and on homeade tortillas. The staff is friendly and fast! I am happy to continually give them my business.

This place is for REAL. The food is delicious and authentic. They make their margaritas with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and vibe is vivacious. Soccer on the tele mixed with dance-worthy Latin jams on the stereo, laced with happy conversation of families enjoying their meal together and the aromatic cloud of joy coming from the kitchen. I felt truly welcomed and nourished from my dining experience at Mi Casa Pupuseria; I look forward to returning!

We wanted maduros/fried plantains in Vancouver. This restaurant came up in Google. It was about 20 minutes so we decided to try. So glad we did. Got a few pupusas, the fried plantains and a couple of salvadorian tamales to go. Everything was delicious! Will definitely go back.

So, I moved here from L.A. and I’ve had a very hard time finding a good Mexican/El Salvadoran restaurant. That is, until I found this one. This place reminds me of home. Outstanding food.

You know how sometimes the little hole in the wall, unknown places are the BEST? This is THAT place! The enchiladas were excellent! Even the rice and beans were very good! The margaritas were OK, but we ordered a shot of tequila to add to it, and they were very acceptable. Highly recommended

This one’s been on my list for a while. Pupusas are obviously delicious and these chicharron, bean, and cheese ones are no exception. These potato and ground beef pastelitos are really what hooked me into making this a must do lunch trip for today. The curtido (vinegar slaw) and their hot sauces really round out the denseness of each of these items as well, but even then, I was not able to finish this plate due to said density. These things are filling! I’ll definitely be back here, likely to try the yuca frita con chicharron plate. I have little doubt that just about everything here is good. Come and try some Salvadoran if you haven’t already.
