We came by for dinner for the first time tonight. The food was surprisingly good for what seemed like a dive bar. There was no wait at all at 6 pm on a Friday and we were seated right away.

This was my first visit on site to SG. I had previously ordered food delivery from here on a whim before and it was awesome. The food this time was equally as good. They offer a nice selection of appetizers. I tried the pot stickers and the filling and sauce were some of the best that I’ve ever tasted. Our entrees did not disappoint either. It was chilly during our visit, but they have an outdoor sitting area that looked great for fair weather months. I would imagine that it gets a bit rowdy in the evenings though, which is true for any bar. Overall it’s a cool spot with great food and service.

Very mid at best. The food tasted like it came straight from a box and the margaritas were watery, which you wouldn’t expect as it is a typical bar staple. I think baby boomers would be more into this place.

Julia, our server, was fantastic! Immediately got a bowl of water for our thirsty pups and was so attentive. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable on the patio with the dogs, making sure the heaters were nice and toasty. Brunch was fantastic as were the bottomless mimosas! 11/10 we will be back from Greenville just for the experience! PLEASE open up a location in the upstate

Food is good. One of the bartenders outside however was very rude last time I was there. She straight up refused to serve me and just kept telling me she couldn’t make any of the drinks I asked about. She never asked for my ID, just assumed I was underage and went to get a manager. The manager then took my ID to verify my age and didn’t come back for a good 10 minutes with it. After all that, she rudely served me and immediately cashed me out without asking if I wanted to start a tab or anything. I’m 24 years old and am aware I look young, but have NEVER had that big of an issue.

Let me start by saying we sat at the bar, so this review is solely based on the bar service. We showed up on a Friday for beers and dinner. Trent took our drink order immediately upon sitting. And we never had to ask for another, we were always offered before our drinks were empty. We ordered our food (buffalo wrap & Jack Daniels burger), which came out very soon after ordering and was perfectly delicious, recommend the wing chips. Perfect low-key date night experience.

I stopped here for brunch, and I’d do it again. The waiter did a fine job, and the food was quick, tasty, and well priced. There are a few things to note. Elevating the experience with table cloths, preset table flatware/napkin, and preventing people in flip-flops and t-shirts chugging beers and knocking pool balls into your table would be a good start to a 5-star experience for a Sunday brunch location. However, if that’s your business model, don’t let my comments sway your practice. You do you. I understand its a bar, but that’s also why you don’t get 5 stars from me. Just my $0.02.
