I have nothing but great things to say about the staff, service, and food! We recently stopped in for my Dad’s 81st birthday and were pleasantly surprised by the Sunday buffet, which had an amazing array of delicious comfort foods. Homemade fried chicken, pork/sauerkraut/dumplings, French toast, eggs, sausage links, bacon, biscuits/gravy, salad, and a beautiful spread of homemade desserts. Ron and our waitress checked in with us (and all other customers) several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Our gluten intolerant daughter even had a good choice of foods! The afternoon ended with a tour of the restaurant and my dad getting a slice of raisin cream pie for his birthday. Dad said it was a treat to go there, and the best birthday he can remember. Thank you for making it such a special day for all of us!

Wow what an awesome place! First time in today. Our server was Samantha. She was friendly,had common sense, and knew the menu well along with some facts regarding the restaurant!. This place serves HOMEMADE food!!!!!. Made from scratch salad dressings, mashed potatoes , you name it. The salad bar was amazing, again with all HOMEMADE SALADS!. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!. We will be back . Outstanding service, food, and overall experience. We even got to meet the owner who puts his heart into his business and it shows!

What a wonderful little restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Our family was celebrating a little Christmas get together and the staff made us feel very welcome and at home. The holiday decorations and festive atmosphere was a extra touch to our evening. Very glad we chose Legends to celebrate. We’ll definately be returning customers. It was worth the short drive from Lincoln. We will probably make this a family tradition.

We thought we would have a bite to eat. No, we had a full blown EXPERIENCE The atmosphere, the beauty, the history… even the attentive staff…everything was AMAZING! The food was a vast array of fresh, home made goodness and the surroundings were gorgeous. We can’t wait to go again and again!

What a great place. We really enjoy meeting up with friends there. They are so good to the kids. It’s tough to do but try to save room for dessert! Those pies are incredible! Can’t wait to get back there.

Great destination restaurant! Captures the history of Clatonia throughout the eatery. Bar is quaint, sizable and away from the restaurant seating area. Very reasonable prices on entire menu and selections are full plate. Beer garden also a great addition. Make it a place for a “Legendary” meal!

I am not sure where to begin. The atmosphere is nastolgic, the staff is gracious, and the food is out of this world. The salad bar is a meal just by itself. Don’t get me started on the “out of this world” pie selection for dessert. It was a win all the way around. We stopped by chance and WILL be back even though it is a 90 minute drive. Yes….that is how good it is!

The salad bar was good but the pork chops and hash browns that I had was probably the worst food I have had at a restaurant. No joke. Bland and soggy. I am not really sure how you can screw up hash browns and a pork chop. The prime rib looked pretty good but I won’t be back to find out. Oh yeah I almost forgot….my wife said when she took my daughter to the bathroom the toilet seat just fell off.
