I called to see if they were able to accommodate a group of 8 as a walk in and they were able to let us get seated as long we we were out within an hour so the next group could be seated.

A small Japanese restaurant in Little Tokyo. They don’t have many seats so it would be better to make reservations prior to arrival to save some time. We had Japanese Breakfast Bento with Misso Black Cod and Omelette Rice with Pork. Both dishes taste good but I would highly recommend the Japanese breakfast set as that is really authentic and very close to what we had in Japan. Especially the Misso Black Cod is super fresh and doesn’t even have any smell so it is definitely not frozen but fresh cut fish. The entire set is perfect for people who look for something light. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes.

Such a wonderful Saturday morning experience! Came with my roommate who got the famous Japanese breakfast and absolutely loved it. I got the omurice and it was delicious as well but I do think that it left a little bit to be desired. The drinks were great and the service was friendly!

Came for brunch. It’s like having Japanese breakfast in Japan. Pork belly Omrice was great. Brother got a bento, sister got the Japanese breakfast platter. Wish we had room for dessert.

Such a gem of a place! Been really longing for a Japanese breakfast and was so happy to find it here at Azay. We also liked the Omurice. The menu features both French and homey Japanese dishes that are not the typical fare that you find in Japanese restaurants in the west for very reasonable prices. Prompt and unassuming service too. Will definitely be coming back!

What a cute, cozy restaurant, with wonderful service too! We ordered the miso black cod set meal and crab curry. The cod was cooked to perfection; melt in your mouth and almost difficult to pick up with chopsticks. Even the side dishes were delicious, especially the mashed kabocha/potato. The crab curry was hearty and hit the spot, and the omelet served with it was perfectly silky.

Thank God I made a reservation before coming here! The line is pretty long and I’m glad that I get seated rightaway. This restaurant has been on my list for so long because the food presentation looks awesome . The plating reminds me so much of the foods I had in Japan and each ingredient is placed in a small kawaii bowl or plate #socute !

Great little find on the outskirts of Little Tokyo. I am only reviewing their Bento box which changes everyday. It was a delight and very artistic in appearance. Not to mention delicious.

I like this place for authentic Japanese food even there are some dishes are not. What we had are great. Matcha Creme brûlée is really recommended for Marcha fan. It’s small place and limited staff. I got a little struggle a bit but everything is ok.
