Have always really loved food here, but not now. Fried wonton was so greasy and hard we could not eat it. The sweet and sour chicken was also over cooked and hard. The spicy shrimp dish was very bland. I hope this was just an off night but will not order again any time soon.

Three dishes we received were burned. Not overcooked, but charred and inedible. So disgusting! Someone put burned food together for a customer, because they had to have seen this burned, disgusting, inedible food. And not for just one, but three. Shrimp toast, teriyaki beef and fried shrimp, all worthless.

Food did not taste fresh. It tasted stale and the flavoring was bland. When I got there, adults were eating food. Did not budge to get up. The kids took my order and at one point, I think they had their kids start cooking the food. Eventually some of the adults got up and went into the kitchen.

Always good food and service. Family owned and operated. Ingredients are always fresh. I have worked on the refrigeration system and can honestly say that the kitchen is exceptionally clean because I have been in there several times and I have never seen ANYTHING that was dirty or unsanitary. In my opinion this is the best traditional Chinese restaurant in Mechanicsville.

So friendly! Incredibly CLEAN!!!!!!! Smelled so good inside. Truly SPOTLESS! Ordered egg rolls, chow mein and egg foo young. I always order those things when I try a new place. Everything was soooo good!! I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!!!!! I’m from NY and have had a hard time finding a good Chinese restaurant here in Virginia. I finally found one!!!!
