This is either the second or third time I’ve ordered a sandwich and asked for it to be toasted and each time I receive it not toasted. I then called the store and they proceed to tell me that they did in fact toast it while I’m looking at the sandwich that was definitely not toasted. Place is a joke and so are the workers.

I wouldn’t give it 1 star! This place is not customer oriented at all, other businesses in this town has no problem fixing a problem. Isn’t normally customer are right anyways? The Italian bread we got today was hard in places and the top was crumbling off, I refused to let my daughter eat it, we were on our way out of town so I didn’t get to take the sub back in to show them. I’ve spent alot of money at this subway, but they won’t get none of my money again, and I’ll make it known what type of business this man and his assistant manager is running, she was very rude. She even told me that the people last night could have put them in too early. So you’re telling me you know what issue it could have been but couldn’t offer a refund or a replacement? Even the so called owner that called me back was rude and said oh he ate there today and it was great, sorry but any owner is going to say that about their business. Must not want to refund or replace for customers that have a complaint for reasons. I will never go back to this business again, I’ll go to Jimmy John’s before I go back here. Me and my family down as customers and many more to go with your poor service. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE IN THIS ENTIRE TOWN THAT WILL REFUSE TO MAKE A ISSUE RIGHT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

If I could give this store a negative star i would…or really I want this to go to the manager of this store ( and have you paid attention to your reviews get a grip)…..I will NEVER step foot in this store again….you think you can change the ingredients from a advertised subway sandwich to what YOU think it should be…..you run a FRANCHISE restaurant ….not a manager can change the subways set and advertised menus ingredients to your way….your ignorance to what makes SUBWAY SUBWAY is NOT your decision and leads to false advertisement because YOU feel you can change whatever you want in the ingredients of the sandwich….your ego and arrogance will be the demise of this store……get ready to lose your business with this arrogance……I will also write to the subway headquarters and let them know that YOU think you can change their ingredients or style if their advertised tried and true sandwich ingredients cause you know better and your cheap and wrong… one last note your cheap arrogance shows you are not managerial material simply because you forgot some of the golden rules that the customer is the only reason you are there treat them to what they expect to get and what is set by SUBWAY NOT YOU…..the customer is the paying for what’s advertised and expects to get it with out your employees telling them the Manager says he wants it his way…shame to you and a SAD way to make your employees treat customers SO BAD…….Never another dollar shall enter your door from me I will drive to LaSalle or Ottawa where they treat customers the way they should be.. ..maybe you need retrained or reemployed elsewhere…your loss!!!!!

Aside from the BEST subway we ever had… We accidentally came in right before closing. Well my husband did. And he realized the time once he went inside and Xavier went above and beyond in making my husband feel ok about it. I even called after closing to ask his name… And Xavier answered after closing. Food service work is stressful and makes people bitter. But not Xavier! Thank you!

This the 2nd time Ive been to subway in Streator, for awhile, and the last was tonight. 2/16/22. One young woman was the rudest I have ever ran into. I asked a question about the bread and was she was so snippy, then I ordered eggs on sandwich which I asked for 2 and she told me I stil had to pay for 4. Wow! Should of just asked for an egg sandwich. Not going back there for awhile. She was rude to my daughter to who was with me. Her name was Brittney

The manager here is extremely unpleasant and rude for no reason. Just had a really bad experience. I’ll just go to Ottawa next time. Be careful not to spend too much time on your order because this lady isn’t afraid to let you know that you’re wasting her time and she doesn’t want to do exactly what she’s being paid to do

Stood waiting to order for about eight minutes while the three people in the restaurant ignored me. The one was serving the only other customer another was in the back room and the third was playing with something on the counter. The one playing on the counter asked the one serving the other customer if she was planning on serving me and she nodded and went back to finishing the other customer’s ring out. Then she wandered over and started slowly putting on gloves. In the entire time I was there I was never acknowledged. No one said they’d be with me in a bit. No one asked if I was read to order, if I knew what I wanted, etc. So finally I left shaking my head. It costs too much to eat at Subway to be treated like a dog having to beg to order something. I went to McDonald’s. It’s not fresh but they always smile and ask if I’m ready to order when I stand in front of the counter. It’s a small thing but better than being ignored.
