My partner and I popped into El Puerto Seafood By the Park for an afternoon snack. We were both pleasantly surprised at the amount of food we got for a very reasonable price. We got the ceviche sampler with fish, shrimp and octopus – and they were all fantastic! The service was friendly and quick. Also, the chips and salsa were delicious! We would definitely go back.

This place is reasonably priced and has some tasty options. They were out of oysters when I visited, so call ahead of you want to try them. Bacon wrapped shrimp was a bit too salty and overfried.

I ordered grilled fish tacos. When I asked the person who took my order if there were eggs in the sauce, he said no – it is mayo based. Mayo is made from eggs, and he should know that. That is my reason for 4 stars. The food tasted wonderful. It was fast, hot, and flavorful.

We tried the ceviche sampler and shrimp quesadilla: both were very delicious. My only complaint is the beer price. I know California is expensive, but $7.50 for a bottle of Corona is too much in my opinion.
