I hate to complain especially about Asian food because peoples expectations are so different. My husband had the #2 dinner meal which he liked. I have 2 items I LOVE at Asian restaurants, egg foo young & honey walnut prawns. I tried the egg foo & it was thick & dense. The gravy tasted a lot like cream of chicken soup. So disappointing I’m not sure why the quality is so poor?

Decent quality food but the price is pretty high. 2 entrees (Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken), 2 sides (pork fried rice and chicken chow mein) and won ton soup with 2 egg rolls came out to close to $100. Egg rolls you got 2 for about $9.

I love wah hing, best Chinese food in the cda area!! I just wish they did egg rolls too, not just spring rolls. I have been going here for years, never dined on only get take out. But I can call in order from work in cda, and by the time I hit rathdrum my food is almost always ready, or just a short wait. On their combo meals they’re happy to sub things, like my husband who doesn’t like egg foo young and gets more pork fried rice. In his #4 dinner combo. I send all my friends here for Chinese!!

After doing some intensive Google searching we came upon this hidden gem in Rathdrum. We love Chinese food but are very picky when it comes to ingredients. This place is spot on with genuine chow-mein flavor and crunchy noodles to boot. We have had a really hard time finding a place that has crunchy noodles in their chow-mein that’s why I mentioned it. Anyway we had the combination appetizer to get a good selection of their flavors. It was all very good and the crab wonton is awesome. I am not a fan of fried rice I usually get sticky but forgot to tell the server, My family says it was good. It is really a must try if your looking for Chinese food in the area. The service was fast and the server was very friendly. The restaurant itself could use some upgrades, but it was clean.

Not very good. Pork dish was mostly celery, some bok choy and 3 tiny pieces of pork. Meal was suppose to come with egg roll but got 3 very stale wontons with nothing in them. 4 fried shrimp that tasted as though they had been refrozen more than once. Didn’t bring mustard/horseradish dip as requested. Brought orange lemon dip, after I told them I was allergic to citrus. Never came back to see if I needed or wanted anything else. Never received my tea. Use to be a pretty good restaurant. Hadn’t been there in quite awhile and I probably won’t go back again .

Sticky tables, abrupt service, indescribable meats. I haven’t had horrible food for decades. The beef in the Mongolian beef dish was spongy, chewy and slimy. Never really had a texture like that before. The kung poa chicken dish literally had five pieces of chicken and so much celery it tasted like dirty water. The honey walnut prawns were decent.

Wah Hings is top of the line resturant. They take pride in serving their customers with fine quality food and service. I love this place. Wonton soup is amazing. Kellogg or Rathdrum ID are the best i know of in the whole country. I personally recommend it to everyone who loves the authentic foods the serve.
